Announcements Project Spotlight: Teachers Federal Credit Union

Teachers Federal Credit Union approached JRS with another collaboration involving a reface within their corporate headquarters. The goal was to update the space to reflect the new branding standards and color palette while also improving functionality and efficiency to accommodate their growth.

To achieve this, JRS worked closely with TFCU to develop new furniture standards, lighting solutions, and finishes that would meet their specific needs. One unique design element was the implementation of full glass office fronts which helped to create a more open and collaborative environment while still maintaining privacy. JRS included multi person and one person sound proofing pods to the design, creating private work areas ideal for holding meetings and conference calls, ultimately reducing the need to build meeting rooms where space was limited. In addition to the updated design elements, branding was incorporated through the use of color and glass etching detail. One notable example is the “Map Wall” which features Teachers’ primary service area of Long Island and the boroughs. This element not only reflects the company’s brand, but also adds a sense of place and identity to the space.

This renovation successfully implemented the client’s new branding standards while also creating a more functional and collaborative workspace for their employees.
