Labs and a decontamination area were strategically designed and relocated to achieve operational and workflow efficiencies as well as to ensure compliance with all new codes. The project accounted for future expansion needs in the infrastructure scope. Given that the construction was occurring in an operating facility, appropriate planning and precautions were taken.
