JRS Architect P.C. successfully executed a comprehensive renovation of an existing food court, located in the center of Forrestal Village, home to a well known business hub in Princeton, NJ.
Embracing versatility, one of the goals were to introduce varying seating arrangements within the gathering space to cater to the diverse needs of each guest. This vision materialized in the form of distinct zones: a cozy lounge for relaxation, high-top seating for those in a hurry, expansive tables for larger gatherings, secluded booth areas for intimate dining, window lined seating with a relaxed feel, and numerous two-top setups, each fostering an engaging dining ambiance. A standout feature was the incorporation of acoustical clouds in the lounge, cleverly mirroring the accent wall’s pattern to enhance both visual intrigue and acoustic comfort.
The server fronts received a contemporary upgrade with sleek glass tile, while a thoughtful introduction of green elements, meticulously integrated with plant details, infused warmth and vitality into the space. The team installed pendant light fixtures emitting clean, white light, elevating both functionality and ambiance.
Addressing the need for durability and aesthetic appeal, a durable flooring solution with a large stripped pattern was implemented, effectively breaking up the space’s scale. Through strategic planning and meticulous execution, JRS Architect, P.C. achieved a seamless transformation, revitalizing the food court without disrupting its functionality, thus ensuring continued enjoyment for its clientele.
