With the relocation of their offices and pharmaceuticals dispensary to a former JRS designed LabCorp facility, CHEMRx required a renovation roughly of 56,000 sq. ft. The mixed-use allocation was approximately a third focused on office and call center functions, a third for the pharmacy and the balance for support spaces and the warehouse. A new IV Room, a Narc/Control Room and eye-wash station / sink combination were included in the requirements along with refurbishing restrooms for ADA compliance. New wall and floor finishes for high traffic areas as well as new lighting and ceilings were installed. With these renovations, the building’s HVAC systems were also upgraded to meet the pharmacy’s requirements for air changes per hour.
